In support of International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD), the LTM Foundation along with the Bloomingdale and Glendale Heights Police Departments plan to host a community event to raise awareness about the dangers of drug misuse. Join us to learn what is being done to address this epidemic from our community leaders including Illinois State Rep. Deb Conroy, DuPage County Sheriff James Mendrick, Lorraine Martin, National Safety Council President and CEO, and Felicia Miceli LTM Foundation President. Tour the Hidden in Plain Sight Trailer to discover common places teens hid drugs, learn how to administer life saving NARCAN, and speak with local resources that provide addiction related support. We will remember all those lost to this epidemic. Please bring a framed picture of your loved one to display at the memorial table.
The 2019 HERO and Will County Helps Community Forum is slated for Friday, May 3, 2022 at the Edward Hospital Athletic and Event Center in Romeoville, IL.
This year's event will focus on services and programs to support long-term recovery from opioid use. The eighth annual event will again be sponsored by HERO (Heroin Epidemic Relief Organization) and Will County HELPS (Heroin Education Leads to Preventative Solutions) as well as the Village of Romeoville and the Southwest Coalition.

We are proud to announce that the LTM Foundation will be hosting their Annual Gala Event on Friday, February 8, 2022, at The Seville in Streamwood, IL. The event offers participants an evening of fun while raising awareness and critical funding for the prevention of opioid misuse and support in our community. It is estimated that more than 72,000 Americans died of drug overdoses in 2017. Deaths from drug misuse exceed car accident fatalities.
